  • Eat you fruit and Veg to make sure you are getting you vitamins and minerals. They are healthy and filling and are great for snacks on the go.

  • Drink lots of water!!! Sometimes we mistake hunger for thirst as we become dehydrated, so before you eat, have a glass of water. You need to drink an extra litre of water for every hour of activity you do, so try to have a minimum of 6 glasses per day, plus extra for activity. Water also helps with the body’s systems and keeps your skin clear. Water is all round just great so make it a point to drink more!!!

  • Carbohydrates fuel the body for activity and help keep you full. This includes wholegrains such as pasta, rice, cereals, fruit and veg, pulses and beans. To help the body repair and recover after exercise try to eat protein rich foods such as eggs, low fat dairy products, lean meat, fish and milk.

  • Due to the increasing rise of inactivity and obesity in today’s generation, it is really important that we make an effort to introduce healthy eating and daily activity from an early age. We combine this with the fun factor to ensure everyone is having fun and at the same time keeping healthy.
